Hm...something very interesting seems to happening lately. This mansion is plagued by sudden cases of confused identity. Such a confused world this is! No good could come of it.

It makes for a good story, don't you think so? It's almost inspiring. ["Oh dear god," cries anyone who's ever met his mirror. Or Drosselmeyer.] It suits a place like this, where forgetting mere words is commonplace. It's the only natural progression of the plot that the characters would begin to lose themselves in the process.

[But he doesn't seem concerned for his sanity. Obviously he's in his right mind; he's the all-powerful and mighty storyteller. So instead he's laughing, which probably isn't a good sign.]

It's about time! I kept telling you all I was a girl! Especially you, Arland.

Don't think this makes me any less of a knight though. I'm still just as good as I've always been. I just actually look like a girl now, that's all. There won't be any idiots bringing up my masculinity and trying to insult me.

Not that I would actually be insulted by such a stupid implication.

Thankfully that ridiculousness is over. This stupid mansion had better start getting my gender right with these damn events. Of all the ridiculous things, why would they get a girl to play me? This place is out to humiliate us.

At least it's over now, and that other event too. Maybe we can get some damn peace for a couple of days.

...Mytho. Come over here.

[From far away, or perhaps from behind, Fakir appears unharmed at first glance, but there's something...not quite right. It might be how quiet he is, or the fact that he doesn't seem to be trying to defeat every Geist in sight, but there is something sincerely off about Fakir today.

His clothes are horribly torn, exposing a long wound running diagonally along his chest. However, that mark is not what caused his death in this lifetime. What caused it for Fakir was the black ooze secreting from the wound. Once in a while, one could see Fakir pause his wandering and cough up more of that horrible black slime. It had been so long ago that the wound itself had begun to rot and smell, and Fakir was pale.

Oh, but don't you dare offer him a helping hand. There are no candles here, and no exceptions are being made. He will hurt you.]

...I don't know what everyone else is thinking this event will be, but I'm guessing it hasn't occurred to anyone that no one's ever managed to solve one of those ridiculous riddles correctly. Any time it's looked really obvious, it's been something completely different. It's stupid to go jumping to conclusions in this place.

I will agree that it didn't sound like a very good song though, content-wise, and any event based on it is bound to be trouble.

...At least it seems we'll be able to speak. Drawing was a pain.

...This has nothing to do with what was announced. Again.

This stupid doll is almost insulting with the face it's making, and it won't leave me the hell alone. But I guess it could be worse than this, if it's just annoying dolls.

[Voice post time, because his anger and confusion can't be contained by text alone.]

What the hell happened over there?!

[There's a furious shuffling of papers - looks like Fakir's plans did not go just as planned.]

Damn it! We have to make sure every last one of the people who went over there comes back!

[There's the sound of a sword being unsheathed before the post cuts out.]

It's nearly the second week of August. Though, saying so at this point is stupid and time-wasting. I think we're all aware.

There's been a significant amount of talk, with very little action. I do hope some of you fools actually have a plan of action. Running in blindly doesn't count.

[Filtered to Mytho]
Don't get mixed up in any of this. Do you understand me? It's very important that you listen to me this time.

Obviously that rigged trial and Alice's idiotic punishment have caused a lot of stir here. I've been seeing rebellions starting up here and there.

All I can say is that I hope that none of you are stupid enough to speak of your plans where anyone might see.

As for me, I have my own plans.

This doesn't make any sense.

What the hell are you all doing here in Kinkan Town, and not back at that stupid mansion? And why is that Hare taking over for Neko-sensei?

I knew this had to be too good to be true. Of course. This place couldn't just send us home. That would be too kind.
